Legacy of
Transformation
Since 1997, we have been the catalyst for thousands of dreams. Here are the stories of individuals who turned ambition into enterprise.
More Than Just Training
At CED, we believe that true economic development happens when skills meet opportunity. From the Rajiv Gandhi Udyami Mitra Scheme (RGUMS) to the Agri-Clinics & Agri-Business Centres (AC & ABC), our programs are designed not just to teach, but to handhold entrepreneurs until they stand on their own feet.
Cultivating The Future
Transforming agriculture graduates into agri-preneurs through the Ministry of Agriculture & MANAGE supported programs.

G. Usha Bharghavi
Organic Farmer & Dairy Entrepreneur
Dhathri Natural Farm
G. Usha Bharghavi stands as a testament to the potential of organic farming in Telangana. After receiving rigorous training under the AC & ABC programme, she didn't just return to farming; she revolutionized it on her 6-acre land.
Realizing the urban demand for chemical-free produce, she established Dhathri Natural Farm. She integrated a small dairy unit with 7 milch cows, creating a closed-loop system where dairy waste fertilizes the crops, and crop residue feeds the cattle.
Today, she successfully supplies fresh, organic vegetables and fruits to premium stores in the bustling Kukatpally area, bridging the gap between rural production and urban consumption.
Key Milestones
- Successfully manages 6 acres of certified organic land
- Integrated dairy farming for sustainable manure
- Established direct-to-retail supply chain in Hyderabad
- Role model for women in agriculture

Mudigiri Raju
Agri-Tech Service Provider
Farm Mechanization Services
Mudigiri Raju, a B.Sc Agriculture graduate, identified a critical gap in his local farming community: the lack of modern harvesting machinery. Small farmers were struggling with labor shortages during peak seasons.
Enrolling in the AC & ABC training at CED gave him the financial literacy and project report preparation skills he needed. With CED-ALEAP's support, he secured a loan and a government subsidy to purchase a Combined Harvester.
He now operates a custom hiring center, offering harvesting services to farmers at affordable rates, reducing their dependency on manual labor and saving crops from untimely rains.
Key Milestones
- Secured high-value machinery loan with Govt subsidy
- Serves 100+ farmers in his catchment area
- Drastically reduced harvesting time for local farmers
- Created employment for machine operators

Gade Ashok Reddy
FPO Founder & Community Leader
ANDARI AHARAM FPO
Working as a Village Agriculture Assistant (VAA), Gade Ashok Reddy saw the struggles of individual farmers first-hand. He knew that collective bargaining was the only way forward.
Post his AC & ABC training, he mobilized 50 farmers to form 'ANDARI AHARAM', a Farmer Producer Organization (FPO). The training helped him understand the compliance, management, and marketing strategies for FPOs.
The initiative has now swelled to 250 farmers. By aggregating their produce, they have eliminated middlemen, securing better prices for every member. His efforts were recognized when he was awarded the Best Entrepreneur of AP in 2022.
Key Milestones
- Scaled FPO from 50 to 250 active farmer members
- Awarded Best Entrepreneur of AP (2022)
- Increased farmer income through collective selling
- Implemented standardized grading and sorting
